Learning happens everywhere. So Redwood students aren't always stuck in the classroom.
Instead, we’re busy with fun field trips all around the San Francisco Bay Area and to our very own on-campus garden, biology trips, outdoor school, jumping rope in the American Heart Association Jumpathon, bug collecting, campouts, pine car derbies, hands-on science experiments, taking our drama and musical skills to the community, and getting our hands dirty while volunteering for local good causes.
We’re K-12, and there’s a big range of age-appropriate activities for everyone.
Some of the things we do here—like climbing Half Dome, performing in front of live audiences, and dissecting specimens in science class—get a little bit out there to broaden students’ horizons, while other activities keep our kids firmly within their comfort zone. But it’s all designed to give our students a well-rounded education that’s fun and useful.
Our smaller size means that everyone can be involved in everything. We encourage hands-on and digging in. Getting involved. Music, sports, extra-curricular activities, student leadership, volunteering.
It’s all up for grabs here at Redwood. And the best part is, you don’t have to be great at everything from the start. We give you time and space to grow your talents and skills.
So jump on in and experience Redwood. You'll like it here.
